Vida Brown writes novels that explore the power of fate and the possibility of extraordinary connections, weaving together the contemporary world, with spiritual and mystical stance.
The series, The Connection – including More than Expected, Two Worlds Collide and The Reconnection - is a blend of paranormal romance and urban fantasy, centred around finding your destiny even when it leads you through a glowing portal to a hidden world.
Her unique perspective is drawn from a lifetime of fascinating influences but the idea for the series was sparked over a holiday where she found herself deeply inspired by Germany - a fascination that led to the creation of the protagonist, Gisela.
While her focus on relationships and the secrets they hold, is rooted in an early life spent immersed in the world of professional matchmaking. She channelled the humorous, complex, and often dramatic stories from her time working at the dating agency into the initial premise of the series, where a simple dating agency serves as a doorway to much larger mysteries.
When she is not writing about Oracles, Alantida and destiny, she is often seeking out new experiences to inform her fiction, always believing that the biggest surprises are sometimes the most powerful connections.

Freyja + Emergy is a unique mother-daughter team dedicated to exploring and sharing innovative approaches to energy healing and self-actualization. They guide readers on how to harness readily available tools to realign the mind and access energy for achieving personal goals.
Freyja brings over 30 years of experience in Accounting, Taxation, and Business Consultancy, alongside her deep expertise in Art Therapy, Crystal Healing, Intuitive Color Therapy, Spiritual Healing Therapy, and Alchemy. She is also a Codes for Change and Acceleration Trainer. Her daughter, Emergy, complements this as and executive with over 15 years of business experience, as well as being a fellow artist.
As a team, both Freyja and Emergy are Reiki Masters and hold practitioner training in Pellowah, Past Life Assimilation Technique, and Arbah healing Technique. Their combined life journeys, spanning a "full life" lived and one "working towards living her best life," offer a wealth of insightful experiences that inform their thought process and their powerful line of affirmation cards.
